The property enjoys hot water care of a new solar panel heating system, backed up by an integral immersion heater for the less sunny/cooler winter periods, an external solar shower and barbecue area.
Size of possible extension:
The traditional cottage style accommodation can sleep 4-6 people and the inside bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom, so better for families. There is an additional shower house & toilet on an outside terrace a short walk away.
The main "domed" living room roofed in natural stone has a large fireplace and a TV with built in DVD/CD player, while the kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, gas hob and an electric oven. There is a Bosch automatic washing machine in a separate utility area, by the bathroom. The large master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has bunk beds. Additionally there are 2 extra "Z -beds" available.
Within easy reach are the World Heritage sites of Alberobello, and Matera. The picturesque Valle d'Itria is a must with its many whitewashed Trulli and equally attractive are the Historic walled towns of Martina Franca, with its extensive summer music festival, floodlit Locorotondo, Cisternino, Ostuni and Lecce, while the nearby coastal villages provide delightful harbours, markets and seafood restaurants.
